Privacy policy
A short policy, because this site collects very little.
This policy explains what personal data Fenceline Handbook handles and why. We have kept the site simple deliberately, so there is not much to tell.
What we do not collect
- There are no user accounts, logins or member areas.
- There are no contact forms, comment sections or newsletter sign-ups.
- We do not use analytics tools, advertising networks, tracking pixels or social media widgets.
- We do not sell or share personal data.
Google Fonts
The site's typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. When your browser displays our pages, it requests the font files from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address and basic browser information as part of that request. This is the only third-party request the site makes. Google's handling of that data is covered by Google's own privacy policy.
Server logs
Like any website, the server that hosts the site may record basic technical information, such as IP addresses, pages requested and times, in standard logs used for security and to keep the site running. We do not use these logs to identify or profile visitors.
If you email us
If you write to us at [email protected], we receive your email address, name if you include it, and whatever you choose to write. We use that only to read and reply to your message and, if you report an error, to correct the site. We keep emails only as long as needed for that and delete correspondence we no longer need. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights to access, correct and request deletion of personal data we hold about you, and to object to its use. Email us to exercise them. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Cookies
The site does not set cookies. See our cookie policy.
Changes
If we ever add anything that changes what data we handle, we will update this page first.
